Prometric currently has an opportunity for Registered Nurses with significant clinical experience to participate in the development of test questions for a suite of nursing exams.
The ideal candidate will have significant clinical experience (5 years +) in one of the following areas:
- Mental Health
- Nursing Care of Children
- Adult Medical Surgical Nursing
- Psychiatric Nursing
Candidates should hold a Master’s Degree in their area of expertise or related field, and have extensive practical experience in the subject matter.
Experience as an educator in Mental Health, Nursing Care of Children, Adult Medical Surgical Nursing, or Pharmacology is a distinct advantage.
Successful candidates will be trained to write test items in accordance with Prometric’s standard procedures and will then be requested to write a given number of items. Candidates will also be required to review items written by their peers.
Candidates will need to be available to attend an in-person workshop on April 10th and 11th at Prometric in Baltimore, Maryland.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided and reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
There will be ad-hoc remote item writing opportunity available to interested parties following the in-person workshop.
